Before you configure the connection properties, make sure to complete certain prerequisites.
Smartsheet Connector requires an access token to connect to Smartsheet.
To generate an access token in Smartsheet, the account adminstrator needs to perform the following steps:
1Log in to your Smartsheet account.
2On the left navigation bar at the bottom, click your profile image and open Personal Settings.
3In the Personal Settings window, open the API Access tab, and click Generate new access token.
The access token is generated. Ensure you save your access token in a secure location, as it will not be visible again in your account settings for security reasons.
