target filter characters
The characters that you want to use in masked data or the characters that you do not want to use in masked data, based on the values of the target filter type. Configure the target filter character property in key or random string masking.
Used by Data Integration.
task
An asset that you configure to analyze, extract, transform, and load data. You can configure and run different types of tasks. For example, in Cloud Data Integration, you can run a synchronization task that reads sales leads from your sales database and writes them into Salesforce.
Used by Data Integration, Data Ingestion and Replication.
taskflow
A Data Integration workflow that consists of multiple tasks linked together. You can use a taskflow to run multiple tasks in sequential order or run multiple parallel sets of tasks, either on demand or according to a schedule.
Used by Data Integration.
technical asset
An asset that contains metadata about an object in a source system. The objects that technical assets represent include catalog sources, databases, tables, columns, and views. Collectively, the technical assets represent the data landscape of the source system.
A metadata extraction job creates technical assets when it extracts metadata from a source system. Users do not create technical assets but can enrich them to add business context about the source data.
Used by Data Governance and Catalog.
token
A string that a labeling or natural language processing operation recognizes as a discrete value. A token is commonly a word, but any delimited string can be a token.

token labeling
A data operation that searches for values in an input field and writes a descriptive label as output for each value found. You configure token labeling in a labeler asset.
Used by Data Quality.
topic
An asset that represents a data domain that applications publish and consume through the hub.
See also domain.
Used by Integration Hub.
transformation
An object in a mapping that analyzes, modifies, or passes data. Transformations also define the data source that the mapping reads and the data target that the mapping writes to.
Used by Data Integration.
transformation data type
A set of data types that appear in transformations. They are internal data types, based on ANSI SQL-92 generic data types, which the Secure Agent uses to move data across platforms. Transformation data types appear in all transformations in a mapping.
