Introduction to Veeva Vault Connector

You can use Veeva Vault Connector to access Veeva Vault applications from Data Integration. Use the Veeva Vault connection to securely read data from Vault Objects that represent data sets in Veeva Vault.

Veeva Vault is a cloud-based enterprise platform designed to manage regulated content and data in life sciences. Veeva Vault Connector communicates with the Vault APIs that enables to access Veeva Vault applications.

When you use Veeva Vault Connector, you can create a Veeva Vault connection and use the connection as a source in a mapping and task. When you run the mapping or task, the agent reads from the Veeva Vault application based on the workflow and Veeva Vault connection configuration.

You can switch mappings to advanced mode to include transformations and functions that enable advanced functionality.

Example

If you want to read and filter data from Veeva Vault, you can use Veeva Vault Connector to call the required Vault APIs when you read and filter data related to business partner, customer, supplier, and vendor entities. You can then process the response obtained from Veeva Vault. You can also use transformations on data for better results.
