Interacting with CLAIRE Copilot
Use the following guidelines to improve how you interact with CLAIRE Copilot:
Open CLAIRE Copilot in the appropriate service.
To create a mapping or an ingestion and replication task, or to summarize a mapping, open CLAIRE Copilot in Data Integration.
Create assets on the Home page.
Before asking CLAIRE Copilot to create an asset, navigate to the Home page of your service and then open the conversation window.
Validate, save, and run assets manually.
CLAIRE Copilot can't validate, save, publish, or run assets. To validate, save, publish, or run an asset, open the asset editor and select the appropriate option.
Open a mapping, and then summarize it.
To summarize an existing mapping, open the mapping in the Mapping Designer, and then ask CLAIRE Copilot to summarize it.
Creating assets
Use the following guidelines to improve the prompts that you use to create assets:
Gather all details to create the asset.
Before you ask CLAIRE Copilot to create an asset, gather all the details you need. To create an asset in Data Integration, gather details about source and target connections, objects, and schemas.
Provide all details in the first prompt.
To improve performance, provide all details in the first prompt that you submit to CLAIRE Copilot.
Be clear and concise in prompts.
Be clear and concise when you write prompts. Tell CLAIRE Copilot exactly what you want it to do and in the appropriate order.
Use keyboard shortcuts to help you write prompts.
You can use the following keyboard shortcuts:
- To view the sample prompts, type # in the prompt text box.
- To reference objects in the organization, type @ in the prompt text box. CLAIRE Copilot displays a list of objects that you can select from.
- To access previously sent prompts, use the Up and Down arrow keys. You can resend the same prompt, or press Tab to modify it first.
Finalize the asset description before opening the asset.
Before you ask CLAIRE Copilot to open the asset, finalize the asset description.
After you open an asset, CLAIRE Copilot can't make any more changes to the asset and you can edit it only manually.
Asking questions about the Informatica help
Use the following guidelines to improve the responses you get when you ask questions about the Informatica help:
Provide context for the question.
Provide the the context, details, and service name for CLAIRE Copilot to understand how and where it can find the answer to your question in the Informatica help.
For example, the following questions specify the service name:
How do I use CLAIRE Copilot to create a process in Application Integration?
What's the difference between a mapping and a mapping task in Data Integration?
Rephrase the question.
CLAIRE Copilot answers questions based on the information that's available in the Informatica help. If CLAIRE Copilot doesn't return the answer you expected, try rephrasing the question or using terminology from the Informatica help.
For example, if CLAIRE Copilot doesn't understand basic summary, try brief summary.
