PC to Cloud Conversion

PC to Cloud Conversion is a service that runs within Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services. PC to Cloud Conversion can convert PowerCenter mappings, mapplets, sessions, and workflows to Data Integration mappings, mapplets, mapping tasks, and taskflows. You can convert multiple PowerCenter objects to Data Integration assets at one time.
Note: PC to Cloud Conversion is available for internal customer use in conjunction with Informatica Professional Services or an Informatica approved consulting partner only. The PC to Cloud Conversion utility is part of the Cloud Data Warehouse Modernization for PowerCenter (CDWM4PC) package that Informatica Services team uses. For more information, contact your Informatica representative.
PC to Cloud Conversion reads PowerCenter export XML files, analyzes the PowerCenter objects for reusability in Data Integration, and converts the objects to assets in the Data Integration repository. After the objects are converted, you can publish them so that you can use them in Data Integration.
Use PC to Cloud Conversion to accomplish the following goals:
For example, you have the following PowerCenter mapping that you want to convert to a mapping in Data Integration:
The PowerCenter mapping shows a relational source definition, a Source Qualifier transformation, and two pipelines. The first pipeline contains a Filter transformation and a relational target definition. The second pipeline contains an Expression transformation, a Sorter transformation, an Aggregator transformation, and a different relational target definition.
Use PC to Cloud Conversion to convert the mapping to an equivalent mapping in Data Integration:
The converted mapping shows a relational source object and two pipelines. The first pipeline contains a Filter transformation and a relational target object. The second pipeline contains an Expression transformation, a Sorter transformation, an Aggregator transformation, and a different relational target object.
