You can configure CLAIRE preferences for your organization to enable or disable CLAIRE GPT, CLAIRE recommendations for mappings, and additional CLAIRE features for non-U.S. POD users.
You can configure the following settings:
CLAIRE generative AI services
Enable CLAIRE generative AI services to allow the users in your organization to use CLAIRE GPT to discover, analyze, and explore data through natural language prompts.
By default, CLAIRE generative AI services are disabled. You can enable or disable them for your organization at any time.

CLAIRE recommendations
Enable CLAIRE recommendations to allow in-product recommendations for mapping design based on analysis of metadata from your organization's assets and assets from other Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services organizations. The metadata collected and processed by the CLAIRE engine is anonymous.
By default, CLAIRE recommendations are enabled. When you disable CLAIRE recommendations, recommendations are disabled for all users within your organization. You can enable or disable recommendations for your organization at any time.
Enable and disable CLAIRE recommendations for sub-organizations from within the sub-organization.
When you enable CLAIRE recommendations, Data Integration users can disable recommendations for individual mappings in the mapping designer.
If your organization uses Advanced Integration, enabling CLAIRE recommendations enables the following features:
- CLAIRE-powered configurations, CLAIRE insights, and CLAIRE recommendations for advanced clusters
- CLAIRE-powered runtime strategies and CLAIRE Tuning for mapping tasks that are based on mappings in advanced mode
- CLAIRE recommendations for jobs that run mappings in advanced mode
Additional CLAIRE features on non-U.S. PODs
Enabling this option allows Informatica to transfer data from regional stacks to the CLAIRE Global Intelligence stack hosted in the United States. The generative AI models then process the transferred data that includes uploaded customer data. The models do not store the data after processing. The data transfer is a prerequisite for users on non-U.S. PODs to view summaries and data represented in graphs, tables, charts, and line graphs in CLAIRE GPT responses.
By default, additional CLAIRE features are disabled on non-U.S. PODs. Administrators of organizations can enable them for your organization on the Settings page under CLAIRE Preferences in Administrator.
By default, additional CLAIRE features are always enabled on U.S. PODs. Administrators of organizations on U.S. PODs won't see this option.
