The Policy Compliance Agent is an AI-powered solution designed to parse PDF documents that contain policies, regulations, and governance assets, such as Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) policies, business terms, and Cloud Data Access Management (CDAM) access control policies. It analyzes regulatory sources, including documents and URLs, to identify new or updated data laws and evaluate their impact on existing policies within CDGC and CDAM. Upon user approval, the agent adds new regulations or updates existing Data Governance assets within these environments.
Built using Azure OpenAI, the Policy Compliance Agent automates the analysis of regulatory PDFs and creates or modifies related CDGC policies, business terms, and CDAM access control policies. You can also integrate other GenAI solutions by developing the appropriate model assets.
The agent begins by extracting existing CDGC policies, business terms, and CDAM access control policies from a linked Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) organization. It then prompts users to provide a URL to a PDF that contains regulations and clauses to implement. After parsing the file, the agent proposes assets for creation or modification and presents these recommendations as JSON objects, enabling users to select which recommendations to implement within IDMC.
