Step 2. Create an API key

Create an API key in LangSmith before you create a project.
    1From the LangSmith home page, click the Settings icon.
    2Ensure API Keys is selected in the left panel and then click +API Key.
    3Enter a description for the API key.
    4Specify the key type: Personal Access Token or Service Key.
    5Select the default workspace.
    6Select an expiration period.
    7Click Create API key.
    8Copy your API key and save it to a secure location. The full key is shown only once.
