To use a match model for the match and merge process, you must publish the model. You can publish the model after you complete configuring the match model properties and the declarative match rules.
1Open the business entity, and click the Match tab.
The Match Models page appears.
2Click the name of the match model that you want to publish.
3On the page that opens, click Publish.
A Warning dialog box appears.
4Based on the match model configurations, review the warning, and click one of the following actions:
- Publish. Publishes the match model configuration. The match model is available for the generate search indexes or match keys job.
- Publish and Regenerate Match Keys. Publishes the match configuration and then generates match keys for the existing and new records.
When you click Publish and Regenerate Match Keys, a generate search indexes or match keys job is created. You can view the status of the job on the My Jobs page.
On the Match Models page, the status of the match model is changed from draft to published.
