Configuring applications

Configure your business application to make business entities accessible, include pages that you want users to view, and specify search layouts for displaying search results.
To configure an application, start by adding all the business entities that you want to use within the application. Ensure that you add all business entities that are related through business entity record attributes, which are fields that relate two business entity records. You must add business entities to the application to set display fields for the application.
If your application includes hierarchies, ensure that you configure a maximum of 10 display fields for each business entity that you add to the application. If you increase the number of display fields, load time for hierarchies that contain the business entity might increase.
