Move projects, folders, and assets

You can move custom projects, folders, and assets from a custom or predefined project into any custom projects or folders. By moving, you can reorganize different assets and improve the usability of assets.
To move assets, ensure that you have the update privilege for the asset types that you plan to move.
When you move custom assets, all the dependencies associated with the assets are retained.
Note: You can't move predefined projects, folders, and assets. Additionally, you can't move an asset if the target location already contains an asset with the same name and type.

Moving projects, folders, and assets

To move the custom assets into other custom projects or folders, you must have the update privilege for the asset types that you plan to move.
  1. 1On the Explore page, navigate to the objects that you want to move.
  2. 2Select the objects.
  3. 3Click the Actions icon, and then click Move To.
  4. 4Browse to the new location, and click Select.
Note: You can't move predefined MDM SaaS assets.
