You can stop a job that's in progress. For example, if a job takes a long time to run, you might want to stop it. You can't restart or resume a job that's stopped.
To stop a job, perform one of the following tasks on the My Jobs page.
You can't stop the following jobs:
When you stop a job, data might be partially processed. To find and process the unprocessed data, run a recover failed job. However, when you stop a merge job, the job finishes processing the data it was working on and then releases its resources. When you run the merge job again, it resumes processing the remaining data.
For more information about finding and recovering unprocessed records, see Defining recover a failed job.
When you stop a job, the Job Details page can show the status of the job as Stopped even though the job might have already processed all records.
