Introducing Customer 360 Extension for Salesforce

An extension is a ready-to-use package that extends the capability of Customer 360 SaaS. The package can include business entities, reference data, relationships, pages, batch jobs, source systems, and Data Integration assets to support the jobs. You can use an extension as a template to get started with Customer 360 SaaS.

Use Customer 360 Extension for Salesforce to integrate Salesforce and Customer 360 SaaS and process the Salesforce records in Customer 360 SaaS. The supported Salesforce objects are accounts, person accounts, contacts, account to contact relationships, account to partner relationships, and account hierarchies.

Customer 360 Extension for Salesforce supports the Enterprise and Developer Editions of Salesforce.

After you install Customer 360 Extension for Salesforce, you can detect and merge duplicate records in Customer 360 SaaS and then export the merged records to Salesforce. You can also configure Salesforce to synchronize records with Customer 360 SaaS in batches or real time.

For example, if you have three different accounts for a customer with different addresses in Salesforce, you can merge them into a single record with all the addresses in Customer 360 SaaS. You can then export the three accounts to Salesforce with the consolidated values. The three records in Salesforce include the ID of the merged Customer 360 record.

You can leverage the Cloud Application Integration assets in the extension package to configure Salesforce to search for and import similar Account and Person Account records in Customer 360 SaaS before creating Account and Person Account records.

You can enhance the data onboarding experience in Salesforce by using Informatica Customer 360 Extension for Salesforce, an unmanaged Salesforce package. The Salesforce package includes a configurable Lightning component that seamlessly integrates with Customer 360 SaaS to detect and import similar records from Customer 360 SaaS.
