Before you deploy the MDM Extension for Microsoft Fabric, perform the following prerequisites:
•Ensure that you have the license for the Integration Components for Business 360, MDM SaaS edition, and Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse Connector.
•Ensure you have set up the Azure service principal to automate secure access and operations between Microsoft Fabric and Azure services for publishing reports and dashboards in Power BI. For more information about Azure service principal, see the Microsoft Azure documentation.
•Ensure that you have the licenses required to manage connections, external data, and service rights.
Note:
The use of the
industry 360 application
doesn't confer any additional license or entitlement to license consumption beyond the terms specified in the applicable licensing agreements.
•Ensure that the version of the industry 360 application package matches the current MDM SaaS version where you import the industry 360 application assets.
If the version of the industry 360 application package doesn't match the current MDM SaaS version, contact Informatica Global Customer Support to use the current version of the industry 360 application.
To verify the MDM SaaS version, in Business 360 Console, click About in the IDMC Help menu and verify the build version.
To verify the version of the industry 360 application, navigate to the readme.txt file in the extracted industry 360 application package.
