When you use the related records table to create a new related record with a business entity record field, you fill in the business entity record field. Customer 360 SaaS automatically fills in that field with the record that the new related record belongs to. You can edit the field if needed.
For example, you have an Insured Person record named John Smith, and you want to add an insurance product for John Smith. The record John Smith has a related records table called Home Insurance Products, from which you can add new home insurance product records. In the table, you create a new Insurance Product record. The new Insurance Product record has an Insured field that accepts an Insured Person record. Customer 360 SaaS automatically fills in the Insured field with the record John Smith.

Previously, you had to manually fill in the record for each business entity record field.
When you use the (Blank) filter value to filter search results for a field within a field group, MDM SaaS now returns a record if at least one entry of the field group is missing a value for that field.
For example, consider the records of David and Paul:
- - David's record has two addresses, and neither entry has a value for the City field.
- - Paul's record has three addresses, and one entry doesn't have a value for the City field.
If you use the (Blank) filter value on the City field, the search returns both the records.
The following image shows the (Blank) filter value selected for the City field, and the search returns records that have no value in the City field.
Previously, the search returned a record only if none of its field group entries contained a value for that field. In this example, the search returned only the David record.
