When you create or update records, Customer 360 SaaS validates the field data. You can fix the validation errors to improve data quality.
If error remediation is enabled for a business entity, Customer 360 SaaS assigns each record a validation status. Records with data quality issues have the status Validation Error and those without have the status Valid.
If the record status is Validation Errors, but the fields don't display errors, then fields that you aren't permitted to view might have errors.
Note:
When you use validation statuses to filter records, incorrect results might appear.
Records with validation errors display messages that are categorized based on severity and type.
Records can display the following types of validation messages:
•Warnings. Minor issues that might not require any immediate fix.
•Information. Information that might be helpful when you add or update values.
•Errors. Issues that impact the quality of data.
•Others. Issues that can't be categorized as information, warnings, or errors, but affect the quality of data.
When error remediation is enabled for a business entity, information and warning messages appear after you save a record. When it's disabled, they appear after you add or edit an entry to a section.
