Introduction to Amazon SageMaker Lakehouse Connector

You can use Amazon SageMaker Lakehouse Connector to read from and write to Apache Iceberg tables, that are managed by the AWS Glue Data Catalog or S3 tables catalog and stored in Amazon S3, within Amazon SageMaker Lakehouse.
You can use an Amazon SageMaker Lakehouse connection as a source or target only in mappings in advanced mode.
When you configure an Amazon SageMaker Lakehouse connection, you can select the lakehouse pattern that is a combination of catalog type and storage type that you want to connect to. To read from an AWS Glue Data catalog, select the S3 Data Lake lakehouse pattern. To read from an S3 tables catalog, select the S3 Tables lakehouse pattern.
You can configure cross-account access when the Secure Agent running on an EC2 instance is in one AWS account, while Apache Iceberg tables, Glue Catalogs, and Athena workgroups reside in a different AWS account.
