Source Records page experiences

When you open the Source Records page, the new experience of the page is enabled by default to better manage source records. You can revert to the classic experience of the Source Records page.
Note: Effective in the October 2025 release, support for the classic experience of the Source Records page is deprecated. You can use the new experience of the Source Records page.
The following table describes the differences in functionality between the new and classic experiences of the Source Records page:

Managing fields
To manage fields for a focused view of source records, you can show or hide fields and change their display order. The focused view that you set for source records on the Source Records page also appears in the new experience of the workflow inbox.
You can't manage fields.
Navigating dynamic fields and field groups
You can now use the list at the page level to navigate to dynamic fields and field groups.
You can also jump to the next level of the dynamic fields or field groups.
The following image shows a list of field groups that you can navigate to in a master record:
You can't view dynamic fields and you can't directly navigate field groups.
Filtering records
You can filter source records by source systems, ID, and additional criteria.
You can only filter active or deleted records that you want to view.
Deleting, restoring, and unmerging source records
You can directly select a specific source record to delete, unmerge, or restore. You can then select additional source records to delete, unmerge, or restore.
The following image shows the option to delete records:
The Action menu with the options to delete and restore source records is at the page level, and the option to unmerge source records is at the master record level. After you select the option from the Action menu, select the specific source records that you want to perform the action on.
Merging records
When you merge master records, you can now filter selected or unselected records.
The following image displays the Merge Records page after you apply a filter for the records that are selected for merging:
You can only filter selected records that you want to view.
Unmerging records
When you unmerge records, the Unmerge Records dialog box lists records for unmerge. You also have the option to open the new master record after unmerge.
You can't view the list of records to unmerge or open the new master record after unmerge.
Overriding fields
To override a field value, you can select any source record field or field group.
You select the option to override at the page level, and then select the field values to override.
Viewing trust scores and survivorship configurations
To view survivorship rules, source rankings, deduplication, and trust scores for all the records, you can enable survivorship details.
You can show or hide survivorship criteria and trust scores from the Settings menu.
Icons for source systems
Each source record displays an icon that represents a source system for easy identification. The source system legend maps icons to source system names.
Source system names of records display as text.
Viewing system fields
To view system field details, such as the business ID and record state, you can expand the ID field.
The System fields section displays the system field details, such as the business ID and record state.
Viewing record pairs of a master record
To view record pairs, you can use the Action menu item at the page level. The record pairs appear in the Record Pairs dialog box.
You can view the record pair details in the Match Pair Details.
Patch records indicator
The Patch Records field indicates whether a record is a patch record.
An icon at the record column header identifies patch records.
