Specific actions on data can trigger a workflow. The workflow might consist of one or multiple tasks linked together.
Relevant stakeholders need to review and approve the data before it becomes master data. As a stakeholder, you can view all your assigned tasks in the task inbox.
Note:
If your changes trigger a workflow, you can't view the approval task. Also, you can't approve your changes, even if you are assigned the approver role.
