The October 2026 release of Application Integration includes the following important notices and upcoming changes.
Dropped support for SOAP API login() endpoints
Effective in June 2027, Salesforce will retire the SOAP API login() authentication operation for API versions 31.0 through 64.0. This change strengthens account security by moving integrations away from legacy username-and-password authentication towards OAuth-based authentication.
After June 2027, Salesforce will no longer accept authentication through the SOAP API login() operation. Consequently, Informatica Salesforce connections that rely on SOAP API login() will fail to authenticate.
Before June 2027, you must reconfigure your Salesforce connections to use a supported OAuth authentication method. Processes and assets that use the reconfigured connections don't require any other changes.
Deprecated support
Effective in the October 2026 release, PostgreSQL database server version 14.6 is deprecated. Informatica intends to drop support for PostgreSQL database server version 14.6 in a future release. PostgreSQL database server 14.6 will reach end of life (EOL) on November 12, 2026, as noted on the PostgreSQL Versioning Policy page. Upgrade to PostgreSQL database server 18.4 before the EOL date.
