Effective in the July 2024 release, Informatica will upgrade the security algorithms that were used by FTP Connector.
Support for new algorithms in SFTP connections
Application Integration supports the following new algorithms when you use an SFTP connection to upload or download files:
- •rsa-sha2-256
- •rsa-sha2-512
Dropped support for existing algorithms and ciphers
Application Integration no longer supports the following key exchange algorithms and ciphers for SFTP connections:
- Key exchange algorithms
- - diffie-hellman-group14-sha1
- - diffie-hellman-group-exchange-sha1
- - diffie-hellman-group1-sha1
- Server host key algorithms
- Ciphers
- - aes192-cbc
- - aes128-cbc
- - 3des-cbc
- - 3des-ctr
- - blowfish-cbc
- MAC algorithms
- - hmac-md5
- - hmac-sha1-96
- - hmac-md5-96
Note: You can't connect to the SFTP servers if they use these old algorithms. You must make changes accordingly.
