Step 4. Configure and publish the processes

Configure the system instructions and publish the processes.
1Open the Create Veeva Address process.
2On the Start tab of the Start step, select the same secure agent as salesforce connection from the Run On list.
    3Save and publish the process.
4Open the Synchronize Salesforce Accounts with Veeva Organization process.
5On the Start tab of the Start step, enter the following values:
6On the Temp Fields tab of the Start step, in the Object_Type field, enter the Veeva account object type ID for the organization value.
    7Save and publish the process.
When an account is created or updated in Salesforce, a Salesforce Change Data Capture (CDC) event triggers the process. The process uses the Salesforce ID to search for an account in Veeva and retrieves all the information based on the Salesforce ID. The process then checks whether the record contains a name. If the name doesn't exist, the process displays an error. If the name exists, the process searches for the organization by the External ID field value in Veeva and creates or updates the organization based on the search results.
