Cohere connection properties

To use the Cohere API, you need the base URL and API key to access the Cohere instance.
The following table defines the Cohere connection properties that you must configure in the Connection Properties section:
Property
Description
Base_URL
The primary endpoint that connects to the Cohere API and serves as the entry point for all API requests.
API_Key
A unique identifier that is used to authenticate and authorize access to the Cohere API.

Create a Cohere API key

Create a Cohere API key to authenticate and authorize access to Cohere's API services.
To create a Cohere API key, perform the following steps:
    1Log in to Cohere and go to the API Keys section using https://dashboard.cohere.com/api-keys.
    2Click New Trial key.

    3Enter the key name and click Generate Trial key.
    The image shows an option to enter the key name and generate the trial key.
    4Copy the API key.

    You can save the API key for future use.
