Application Integration provides multiple connectors that help you integrate with services and data sources outside Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services℠. When you automate business processes, you might want to send email notifications. For example, in an order management process, you might want to send email notifications to customers to inform them about the order delivery date. You can use the Application Integration Email Connector for this requirement.
Use Email Connector to send an email from an email server to a specified list of recipients. After you create an Email connection, you can use it in a Service step in a process or guide to send emails.
You can also use Email Connector to send an email to distribution lists.
Email Connector supports Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP). You can also configure the Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocols in an email connection for secure email transmission.
