Important notices

Informatica has modified the levels of customer support that it offers for one or more Data Integration features in the current release. The following notices identify the features and the current support levels.

Dropped support for Simba JDBC driver

Effective in the July 2025 release, Informatica drops support for Simba JDBC driver in Databricks Connector.
Use the Databricks JDBC driver instead of the Simba JDBC driver, when you configure a Databricks connection.
For more information on how to use the Databricks JDBC driver for Databricks Connector, see Databricks JDBC driver Knowledge Base article.

Action required to use the latest Snowflake JDBC driver

We want to let you know that by October 2025 or later, Snowflake Data Cloud Connector will use the JDBC driver version 3.24.0, by default, to connect to Snowflake and run your Snowflake Data Cloud jobs.
The JDBC driver version 3.24.0 is available in the Secure Agent installation directory.
To prepare for the change, ensure that you try the JDBC driver version 3.24.0 in a lower or non-production environment before the October 2025 release.
For more information about how to use the latest driver in your lower or non-production environment, see the Configure the JDBC driver for Snowflake Data Cloud Connector Knowledge Base article.
Informatica intends to include this functionality in October 2025 or later but might choose not to in accordance with changing market or technical circumstances.
