Business 360 Events Connector example

The sales consultants in your organization add , edit, and delete information about customers in a Business 360 application. You want the Business 360 application to be the source of truth and want to publish these events to an external target for further processing and consumption. You use the Business 360 Events Connector to publish these events to an external target.
To publish events to an external target, you configure a publishing event in the Business 360 Console. When sales consultants add, edit, or delete information about customers, these actions trigger publishing events. You also create a mapping to connect the source of the events to the target for the events. You can then run the mapping tasks, which use the Business 360 Events Connector to publish the events to the external target.
You can also publish events from MDM SaaS to streaming targets that Cloud Data Integration supports in real time. For example, after a user creates a record in MDM SaaS, you can publish the details to a Kafka topic.
For more information about configuring the publication of events, see Configuring the real-time publication of events in the Administrator help.
