The solution to the following situations might help you troubleshoot Chatter synchronization task:
•When you configure the log file, the log file captures the exception and the log messages in a specific location. For example, <Secure Agent installation directory>\apps\Data_Integration_Server\<latest version of connector>\ICS\main\tomcat\log.
•When you create a synchronization task, the null error message occurs when a connector with invalid configuration is selected. The exception details are available in the following location: <Secure Agent installation directory>\apps\Data_Integration_Server\<latest version of connector>\ICS\main\tomcat\log
•When a synchronization task fails, the exception and log details are captured in the Session Log. To run the application in debug mode, you require special permission from the administrator.
