Introduction to Oracle Connector

You can use Oracle Connector to connect to Oracle databases from Data Integration to read and write data.
You can also use Oracle Connector to connect to the following databases:
You can use Oracle objects as sources and targets in synchronization tasks, mappings, mapping tasks, replication tasks, PowerCenter tasks, and data transfer tasks.
You can configure SSL authentication to establish one-way or two-way secure communication with the Oracle server. You cannot configure the SSL authentication when you use the Hosted Agent.
You can create, update, or delete records when you use Oracle Connector to write to Oracle databases. When you create a synchronization task, mapping, or mapping task, you can use the Oracle bulk API to perform insert operations.
You can switch mappings to advanced mode to include transformations and functions that enable advanced functionality.
