Importing metadata with SSTRING, STRING, and RAWSTRING data types

If you import metadata that contains a SSTRING, STRING or RAWSTRING data type with precision that is not defined in SAP, you need to set the SapTableReaderPrecision custom property for the Secure Agent and specify the required precision.
Perform the following steps to configure the custom property for the Secure Agent:
  1. 1Log in to Informatica® Intelligent Data Management Cloud™ (IDMC).
  2. 2Click Administrator.
  3. 3In the navigation bar, select the Runtime Environments tab.
  4. 4In the Runtime Environments page, select the Secure Agent used for running the SAP task.
  5. 5Select Edit on the top right-hand corner.
  6. 6In the System Configuration Details section, add a custom property.
  7. 7Select Service as Data Integration Service, and then select Type as Tomcat.
  8. 8In the Name field, specify SapTableReaderPrecision, and in the Value field, set the required precision.
  9. 9Click Save.
You can't use the SSTRING, STRING or RAWSTRING data type in a task when you write to SAP table at this time. Tasks that include these data types for the SAP table writer might fail.
