API token

To connect to Zendesk using the API token authentication, you need the Zendesk account user name and API token.
To generate an API token in Zendesk, you need to be an administrator with API token access enabled in your account.
  1. 1Log in to your Zendesk account.
  2. 2Go to Admin Center. Click Apps and integrations, and then select APIs > API tokens.
  3. 3Click Add API token.
  4. 4Enter a description for the API token.
  5. 5Click Save to generate the token.
  6. 6Click Copy.
