If your organization uses Data Governance and Catalog, and you use a source object with columns associated with a rule specification, CLAIRE recommends the rule specification.
Before CLAIRE can recommend rule specifications, create a data quality rule occurrence and associate a source object column to the occurrence in Data Governance and Catalog. Then, associate a rule specification to the rule occurrence and run a profiling job on the source. When you use the source object in the Mapping Designer, CLAIRE recommends the rule specification associated with the object columns.
When a recommendation is available, Data Integration highlights the Recommendations tab. Select the Recommendations tab to see the recommendations.
In the list of recommendations, click the Show Me icon for the rule specification that you want to investigate. A Rule Specification transformation with the recommended rule specification appears on the mapping canvas linked to the associated source. Data Integration automatically maps fields based on the field name and type.
If you want to use the rule specification, in the Recommendations tab, click the Accept icon. In the mapping canvas, connect the Rule Specification transformation to the data flow.
If you don't want to use the recommended rule specification, click Decline. Data Integration removes the recommended Rule Specification transformation from the mapping canvas.
