You can duplicate an aggregate field to reuse its metadata or to copy complex expression logic to a new field.
When you duplicate an aggregate field, Data Integration creates a new field directly below the original field and copies the original field metadata, including the configured expression and description, to the new field.
To avoid naming conflicts, Data Integration appends the new field name with an underscore and the field instance number. For example, if you duplicate the field Total_Sales, the new field name is Total_Sales_2.
Data Integration truncates field names that contain more than 255 characters.
To duplicate an aggregate field, in the row that contains the field you want to copy, click the Duplicate icon.
