hierarchical code list
A code list that supports hierarchical data structures. You can arrange its code values into levels to create hierarchies.
Used by Reference 360.
hierarchical data
A set of data that is hierarchically related. The hierarchical relationship is represented in a schema.
Used by Data Integration.
hierarchical mapper
Maps a hierarchical schema to another hierarchical schema. For example, you can map the XML output of a parser data service for industry solutions to a target XSD file.
Used by Data Integration.
hierarchical reference data set
A reference data set that supports hierarchical data structures. Code lists inherit the hierarchical structure from the reference data set. You can arrange code values in a hierarchical reference data set into levels to create hierarchies.
Used by Reference 360.
hierarchy
In Master Data Management, the relationships that exist among or between business entities and reference data.
Used by Master Data Management.
historical record
An older version of a master record or contributor. When a master record is updated, the updated version is the new master record, and the existing master record becomes a historical record.
Used by Master Data Management.
hop
In a lineage, the distance between the seed asset and a connected asset, expressed as a number.
Used by Data Governance and Catalog.
Hosted Agent
A runtime environment that runs Data Integration tasks that use certain connectors. The Informatica Cloud Hosted Agent (Hosted Agent) is hosted at an Informatica cloud hosting facility.

human task
A WS-BPEL 2.0 specification that allows human workflow activities within a BPEL process with Process Developer.
