Editing a profile

Edit a profile that you created to change the name, description, sampling type, filters, and rule associations.

1Open the data set for which you want to edit a profile.

2If multiple profiles exist for the data set, click Switch Profile and select the profile that you want to edit.

3On the Data Profiling tab, perform one of the following actions:

- To edit a profile before it runs for the first time, click Edit Profile.
- To edit a profile that has associated profiling results, click the action menu and select Edit Profile.

4Modify the required properties and rules, and click Next.

5Click Save to save the profile, or click Save and Run to save the configuration and run the profiling job.
