Running a profile
Run a profile to discover a range of statistical information about a data set. Data profiling creates a job when you run a profile.
1Open the data set for which you want to run a profile.
2If multiple profiles exist for the data set, click Switch Profile and select the profile that you want to run.
3In the Data Profiling tab, perform one of the following actions:
- - To run a profile for the first time, click Run.
- - To run a profile that has associated profiling results, click the action menu and select Run Now.
A job is triggered to run the profile. You can monitor the status of the job and download logs on the Job Monitoring page.
