Monitor the time intervals at which your source data is updated and refreshed, along with volume metrics.
Data Freshness
The freshness data allows you to observe how often and in what pattern your source data is updated real-time. You can view the freshness data in the Freshness tab of the Freshness and Volume panel in Data Governance and Catalog.
You can track both freshness and volume for the Snowflake catalog source.
Data Volume
The volume data allows you to observe in real time the row count of your source data that are updated and refreshed. You can track the total number of rows in your data and the changes in row count each time your data is refreshed.
You can track the volume metric for the following catalog sources:
- Oracle
- MariaDB
- Google BigQuery
- Microsoft Fabric Data Lakehouse
- Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse
- Microsoft SQL
- Microsoft Azure Synapse
- MySQL
- SAP S/4HANA
