When there is a change in the data quality score for a data quality rule occurrence, Data Governance and Catalog generates a notification and an email alert. You will receive notifications for a data quality rule occurrence status change only if you are assigned as a stakeholder for that rule occurrence.
You can receive notifications for the following changes to the rule occurrences:
•The status changes from good to not acceptable
•The status changes from acceptable to not acceptable
•The status changes from good to acceptable
•The status changes from not acceptable to good
•The status changes from not acceptable to acceptable
•The status changes from acceptable to good
You'll also receive notifications when the data quality score status is not acceptable after the first catalog source run.
Enabling email notifications
You can configure email notifications in Data Governance and Catalog to receive emails that will notify you when the data quality score of a data quality rule occurrence drops.
To configure email notifications, perform the following steps:
1On the Notification menu, click the Settings icon.
2On the Notification Settings panel, enable the Email Event option for the Data Quality notification type.
