The Informatica QuickLook browser extension automatically detects matching assets in Data Governance and Catalog from your Power BI web application.
When you log in to the Microsoft Power BI web application, the browser extension detects the Power BI reports and dashboards from the application that match the Power BI reports and dashboards present in your Data Governance and Catalog organization. When a successful match is found, the extension displays the Informatica icon on the right corner of the Power BI asset page in the web application. You can click this icon to open the matching Power BI asset in the browser extension.
Note: To detect assets from an already existing Power BI catalog source, you must run a full scan of the existing catalog source after upgrading to the November 2023 version.
