Data observability

Use Data Governance and Catalog to visualize and evaluate the events that data observability generates for anomalies identified in your source data. Data observability identifies the anomalies through the analysis of sudden deviations from a usual trend observed within your source system.
For the anomalies that it identifies, data observability generates events in Data Governance and Catalog. Data observability categorizes the events based on metric and severity. You can take appropriate actions on the anomaly events. Data observability learns your actions so that it can generate better events in the future.
To receive event notifications, the administrator must enable data observability for a source system in Metadata Command Center.
