Rating data collections

A data collection rating is the average of each data user's assessment of the data collection, it helps potential consumers to gauge the usefulness of a data collection. It also helps stakeholders to understand how useful their collection is to the Data Users. You can rate the data collections to which you have received access, and you can also rate the data collections that you manage.
To rate a data collection, verify one of the following prerequisites:

To rate a data collection, click the Rating (Rating panel button.) panel. When you rate a collection, you can also enter your comments to express your experience with the data collection. To access the advanced text formatting options or to add emoticons, click the Format Text (Format text button.) button. In the Rating panel, you can also view how other consumers of the data collection have rated it and the comments that they provided when they rated the collection.

As a Data User, you can rate a data collection that you have access to for the specific usage that you ordered it for or in a general sense. You can also rate a collection as a Data Owner in a general sense. To rate a collection in a generic sense, select the Not Specified option from the list at the top of the Rating panel.
In the Rating panel, you can view the avatars of the other Data Users that have rated the data collection. You can also see how they have rated it.
