The April 2025 release of Data Marketplace includes the following new features and enhancements.
Customize pages, item tooltips and the Guide Me panel
Data Marketplace now offers several customization options for the user interface. Create new page layouts and specify the various components of the pages according to the needs of your users. Design preview tooltips and create customized help content for the Guide Me panel. You can assign these custom pages to specific users, groups and roles in your company according to your business functions.
Page layout
Create various page layouts to allow your teams to easily consume information according to the themes and priorities of your business. Rearrange or hide tabs, panels, grids and specific attributes to prioritize the information that your team needs.
If your users have multiple page layout options assigned to them, they can switch between the layouts to see a different presentation of information on each page. If they have a personal preference, they can also override the default layout and set a particular page layout as their personal default.
The following image shows how you can switch between the various layouts available on the Search page:
Item tooltip
Configure the preview tooltips to display only the information relevant to users in your organization when they hover over a category, data collection, data asset, data element, order, or consumer access.
The following image shows how you can create a new tooltip for an order:
Guide Me panel
Customize the Guide Me panel to offer assistance that is contextual to the page that you are viewing. Specify default sections for display or add custom content to reflect your organization's requirements . This ensures that the information in the Guide Me panel aligns seamlessly with your organization's unique usage of Data Marketplace.
If your users have multiple versions of the Guide Me panel assigned to them, they can switch between each version to see the information available on them.

Customized Home page
The Home page now features a variety of widgets designed to assist you with tasks based on your Data Marketplace role.
This release also introduces multiple predefined layouts for the Home page, with widgets tailored uniquely to each Data Marketplace role. The personalized selection of widgets on these predefined layouts equips each user with the tools and information specific to their role's requirements. Additionally, the Home page has predefined layouts featuring a unique set of widgets that are displayed only when no data collections are defined in Data Marketplace.
For example, if you are an administrator who is getting started with setting up an empty Data Marketplace, the predefined layout available to you will display widgets tailored to help you to set up Data Marketplace for your organization. Alternatively, as a stakeholder of a data collection, you'll interact with a distinct set of widgets that allow you to respond to tasks assigned to you. As a consumer, you will be given widgets that allow you to search for data or track your orders and consumer accesses.
In addition to the layouts designated to each predefined Data Marketplace role, your administrator can also leverage the layout customization options introduced in this release to further customize the Home page,including configuring the widgets that are displayed on the page.
