Get started using Data Loader and create your first data loader task on the Home page. To create a new task, click New, and then complete a few quick steps.
1Connect to your source.
The source is the place that you want to read data from. When you connect to the source, you can configure options such as whether to include all the source data. You can also select primary key fields and choose the fields that indicate whether data has changed since the last load.
2Connect to your target.
The target is the place that you want to load the data to. When you connect to the target, you can decide whether to keep the existing target tables or create new ones each time you run the task.
3Run the task.
You can run your task when you finish creating it, save it and run it later, or run it on a schedule. You can also choose whether to send email messages related to the task run.

After you create your first task, you can also:
•Create more tasks from the Home page or by clicking New in the navigation menu.
•Invite people to join your organization from the Home page.
•Find the tasks you saved on the Explore page.
•Monitor the progress of your tasks on the My Jobs page.
