You can monitor the data loader tasks that you and other people in your organization have created. Monitor tasks to get the task status, determine the number of rows written to the target, and troubleshoot issues.
Each time you or anyone in your organization starts a task, Data Loader creates a job to run it. A job is an instance of a task.
When you monitor a job, you can find the job status, view the job details, stop and restart the job, and download a log file to help you troubleshoot the job.
You can monitor jobs on the following pages:
My Jobs page
The My Jobs page lists the jobs that you started. It lists the jobs that you ran within the last three days, plus your 1000 most recent jobs that are more than three days old.
Data Loader checks for a change in the status of your jobs every five seconds. A status message at the top of the page indicates whether the information on the page is up to date. To refresh the page, click the "Updates Available" message or the Refresh icon.
Running Jobs page
The Running Jobs page lists all jobs that are running or have completed within the last five minutes, including scheduled jobs. Use this page for live monitoring of the jobs that are running in your organization. When you view running jobs, job properties such as end time, rows processed, and status are continuously updated.
To view the Running Jobs page, you need to switch to the Monitor service.
All Jobs page
The All Jobs page lists all jobs that are running or that have run in your organization, including scheduled jobs. Use this page for failure analysis and debugging of the jobs in your organization.
