Projects and tasks

A project is a storage location for your data loader tasks. Data Loader contains one project named "Default." You can create other projects to store your tasks, copy and move tasks between projects, and rename and delete projects and tasks.

The Explore page lists your projects and tasks. In this image, the Default project is open and several data loader tasks are listed. The Actions menu appears when you hover the cursor over the right side of a row.

You can manage your projects and tasks in the following ways:

•Create a project to store your data loader tasks.
•Copy projects or tasks to create new versions of them.
•Move tasks to other projects.
•Rename a project or task.
•Delete projects and tasks.
•Create tags to filter for related tasks on the Explore page.
