You can unassign a connection from the assigned catalog sources.
To unassign a connection from one or more catalog sources, perform the following steps:
1On the Configure page, select the Lineage tab, and then select the Assign Connections tab.
On the Assign Connections tab, use filters to view the connections based on the connection names. Click the Add Field menu at the top of the page to add filters.
2To unassign a connection from a single catalog source, select an assigned connection and click Unassign on the control menu on the top of the page.
A warning message appears. Click Unassign to confirm.
3To unassign a connection that is assigned to multiple catalog sources, select a connection and click Unassign on the control menu.
4On the Unassign Connection dialog box, select one or more catalog sources to unassign from the connection, and click OK.
A warning message appears.
5Click Unassign to confirm.
A confirmation message appears on the page and the job status of the connection changes to Unassigning.
The connection is successfully unassigned when the job status changes to Complete. After the connections are unassigned, Metadata Command Center refreshes the percentage of matched objects versus unmatched objects in the connected catalog sources.
