About the Denodo catalog source
You can use the Denodo catalog source to extract metadata from a Denodo source system.
Denodo is a data virtualization platform that allows access to data from various sources without the need for physical data transfer or replication.
Extracted metadata
You can use the Denodo catalog source to extract metadata from a Denodo source system.
Metadata Command Center extracts the following metadata from a Denodo source system:

- •Base view
- •Derived view
Note: Base views and derived views appear as tables and views in
Data Governance and Catalog.
Data sources
Metadata Command Center extracts metadata from Denodo Platform for the following data sources:
- •PostgreSQL
- •Snowflake
- •Oracle
- •Microsoft SQL Server
- •Microsoft Azure SQL Server
- •Databricks
- •Google BigQuery
Compatible connectors
Before you configure a catalog source, you must connect to the Denodo source system.
