Before you begin

Before you create a catalog source, ensure that you have the information required to connect to the source system.

Perform the following tasks:

•Verify permissions.
•Create a Netezza connection to connect to the IBM Netezza source system.
•Download the NetezzaSQL driver from the IBM website.
•Copy the NetezzaSQL driver JAR file to the following location on the Secure Agent machine:

<Informatica Secure Agent installation directory>/apps/Data_Integration_Server/ext/deploy_to_main/bin/rdtm-extra/Netezza

•After you have copied the NetezzaSQL driver JAR file, restart the Data Integration Service.
•Create endpoint catalog sources for connection assignment.
•Optionally, if you want to identify pairs of similar columns and relationships between tables within a catalog source, import a relationship inference model.
