Get the values of the connection properties that you need to configure from the Informatica administrator.
You don't need to create a connection object for IDMC. You provide this information when you configure the catalog source.
The following table describes the properties that you need:

IICS URL
The URL to access IDMC. Use the following format: https://<domain name>/identity-service/home For example, https://dm1-us.informaticacloud.com/identity-service/home
IICS User
The user name to connect to IDMC.
IICS Password
The password associated with the user name.

To perform a connection-aware scan, run the catalog source job. After the job completes, assign connections and run the job again. For more information about the types of connection scans and assigning connections, see .
