Before you begin

Before you create a catalog source, ensure that you have the information required to connect to the source system.

Perform the following tasks:

•Verify permissions.
•Create a MySQL connection to connect to the MariaDB source system.
•Download the MySQL JDBC driver version 8.x.
•Copy the mysql-connector-java-<version>.jar file to the following location in the Secure Agent machine:

<Secure Agent installation directory>/apps/Data_Integration_Server/ext/drivers/<MySQL driver>
