Before you begin
Before you create a catalog source, ensure that you have the information required to connect to the source system.
Perform the following tasks:
- •Assign the required permissions.
- •Configure a connection to the MCP Server source system in Administrator.
- •Ensure that you have the base Server URL and credentials for one of the following authentication types:
- - No Auth
- - API Key
- - OAuth 2.0
- •Verify that the Secure Agent can access the MCP server endpoint over HTTP or HTTPS using streamable HTTP transport.
